Calrec S2 Equalizers

The Calrec S2 has 4-band EQ on each channel:

  • 5/10 KhZ High Shelf

  • 500 Hz - 7.5 K High Mid

  • 160 Hz - 2.4 K Sweepable Low Mid

  • 60/160 Hz Low Shelf

There is also a High Pass that can be engaged at 47 Hz, 82 Hz, or 120 Hz.

Additionally, a Low Pass is included on each channel. The Low Pass is selectable at either 12 KhZ, 8.2 KhZ, or 4.7 KhZ.

Inserts are available on all 48 Channels, 8 Stereo Groups, as well as both Mains

Monitors

Main Monitors @SoundStudio412

The Mains at SoundStudio412 are custom built, soffit mounted passive speakers.

Built in the style of the Altec Lansing “Voice of the Theater”, they feature Altec Lansing 511B Horns with Pioneer TAD TD-2001 Compression Drivers. These are powered by a Bryston 3B power amp.

There are also Altec Lancing 515-8G Woofers powered by a Bryston 4B Power amp.

Crossover points are achieved using White Instruments 4400 EQs.

These woofers and horns are paired with a Bag End IPD12E-I Infra Double 12" Active Sub.
